Energy manager
What do I need the energy manager for?
The energy manager is the heart of the home energy management system in your end customers’ household. In combination with the ComKit, all data from your customers’ systems flows together and is prepared for optimal use of the services.
Which services are possible with the energy manager?

Are the services already included when you purchase the energy manager?
Yes, when you purchase the energy manager, one year of care and all technically possible add-on services are included. These are presented bundled via the web portal so that the data of all components in your customers’ household is displayed and there is no need to switch between applications. This also ensures that the various services do not interfere with each other. After one year, the services can be extended for a fee.
Will future services be possible or will I need a new energy manager?
Is my data secure via the energy manager?
The energy manager communicates encrypted with our backend via certificates. Since the ComKit sets up its own network, your devices cannot be accessed from outside without this certificate. In addition, security is always kept up to date and improved through regular updates.
AC box
What do I need the AC box for?
Our AC box enables your customers to connect the photovoltaic system and other components to the home network. The existing meter cabinets are often too full and confusing to integrate the energy components, which is why the AC box is installed.
Does the AC box replace my usual meter cabinet?
No, the AC box does not replace the meter cabinet, it is hung as a control cabinet extension to connect the energy components with the appropriate hardware.
What advantages does the AC box bring me?
By attaching the AC box, your customer is already prepared for the future and subsequently installed energy components can be easily connected. This saves your customers time because the installer can get out of the house quickly and connecting other components is uncomplicated. This also leads to a minimization of sources of error in the electrical installation.
What hardware can I connect to the AC box?
- 2 x inverters
- 1 x Smart meter (smart electricity meter that communicates with the energy management)
- 1 x charging station
- 1 x outlet for free use, e.g. for connecting a heat pump
ComKit
What do I need the ComKit for?
The ComKit serves as a kind of cable box in which all the information cables of the components come together, which in turn are required for the energy management system.
What does the Comkit include?
- Energy manager: for reading out the data of all components
- Switch: for bundling all cables of the components in order to connect the Ethernet cables of the components to be controlled to the gateway
- Socket: for power supply or use of a powerline adapter if there is no internet connection at the location of the installed AC box
